Leaders of the Legislature - April 14, 2023

Join us for a conversation with Senate Majority Leader Winnie Brinks (D-Grand Rapids) and Speaker of the House Joe Tate (D-Detroit) for our first “Leaders of the Legislature” session for 2023.

History was made in November with the Senate, House and Governors office being held by Democrats. History was made again when the Senate elected Winnie Brinks to be the first female to serve as Majority Leader and the House elected Joe Tate to become the first black Speaker of the House.

Housing SHOULD not be a political issue. We are fortunate to have republicans and democrats in the state Senate and state House who understand the need for attainable housing in every corner of our state. This is your opportunity to talk about the challenges of the industry with the leaders of the legislature.
